We often receive questions from clients who reset or reinstalled their VPS and later realized their files were lost.

Important: When you perform a reset or reinstall your VPS (via Reinstall button or OS change), all existing data is wiped unless you took a manual backup beforehand.

What You Can Do:

  1. Check if a Snapshot Exists:
    If you had created a snapshot earlier, you can restore your VPS to that state.

  2. Prevent This in the Future:
    Always take a snapshot or manually back up your important files to your own device before resetting or reinstalling.
